Two individuals are shown in this photo, both feeding on the same small bryozoan colony.

Nowadays this small dorid nudibranch has a widespread distribution in the (tropical and temperate) seas of the world as the result of accidental transportation by ships. Its original range will probably never be known with certainty.

This excellent photo is significant because it represents the first record of this species from Western Australia. Indeed, the only record of this human-introduced species anywhere in Australia beyond New South Wales.
