This small chromodorid is characterised by the violet blue marginal to submarginal spots interrupted by an orange stripe at the front of the mantle, the two yellow or orange longitudinal stripes that loop around the rhinophores and gills, and by the orange rhinophores and gills.Comment from Richard Willan on photo #3859

The distinctive feature is the golden bar that interrupts the purple marginal markings mid-anteriorly. All the other elements of the coloration are very variable intraspecifically, but this golden bar is consistent. Thorunna florens is already known from Western Australia.Locality:
